Childhood adversity is common, yet it leaves a mark on one’s psyche. Emma's Foundation works to connect those needing trauma and abuse counseling with the right therapist.

The consequences of cyberbullying are increasing daily with children dropping out of school, physical and emotional illnesses, suicide, homicide and other acts of violence. Approximately 20% of students from 11-18 years old reported that they were both a cyberbully and a victim at some point in their lifetime. 

Cyberbullying  trauma can be addressed through counseling.

Scholarships

Emma's Foundation offers scholarships each year for selected recipients to attend both two year and four year colleges. These scholarships are for those who have overcome abuse and/or trauma and are dedicated to giving back to their community through higher education.

With a desire to foster the spirit of giving, Emma's Foundation contributes to charitable and cultural organizations with an emphasis on smaller charities in Atlanta.

The Board meets three times a year. Letters of Intent (LOI) and proposals can be applied for online or mailed in to the Foundation at least three months in advance of the  prior board meeting to be considered.  Please apply below!

These are a few of our most recent programs. Each and every year, we carry out programs and provide resources across the state of Georgia, involving people of every age, interest and need.

  • Cyber Bullying Awareness and Counseling

    Cyber Bullying and Stalkers are on the rise and can attack anyone, and any age. We teach you how to look for the signs of someone being abused by online manipulation, offer counseling services to those affected, and teach you how to protect your children, yourself,  family members and friends.
